For Harald Harms (1977), photography is all about emotion. “Bringing nature closer is one of my goals. An image must appeal to you, it must touch you.”

Harald has owned an SLR camera for over 25 years. In recent years, the emphasis has increasingly shifted to nature photography. “That is really my passion. Nature has a beautiful serenity and purity. It cannot be guided, but follows its own path.”

As a boy I have always been outside in nature. I used to not have a camera, but nowadays almost never without it. Landscapes and animals, but also shapes, structures or graphical images of nature, I like to capture rough and big, or just small details.

But not all this without losing respect for nature.
